Almost-Ready-to-Fly .60-Size Radio Controlled Model
"Storm Trooper of the Skies"
During the early years of WWII, the damage the Stuka caused was severe—but the terror it inflicted was devastating. It would appear without warning, in a screaming dive pointed straight down at its prey. As it dove, the only sounds worse than the roar of wing guns and whump! of exploding bombs were the loud, eerie wail of its wing sirens—and the sudden silence that followed its disappearance.
Great Planes' .60-size Stuka recreates the Luftwaffe's ominous weapon in a plane that offers authenticity and exciting sport performance with the ease of ARF assembly. Perfect for impatient pilots and warbird fans!
- Created for no-finishing required ease! The wings and fuselage are fully sheeted and factory-covered in an intricate camouflage trim scheme created with Coverite® Flat covering.
- The scale-like cowl and replica wheel pants are molded of durable fiberglass, and are prepainted to match the camo covering.
- The "greenhouse"-style canopy is a duplicate of the original's in detail, and big enough to enclose two pilot figures (not included.)
- Flies as scale as it looks, with large control surfaces and a long tail moment that add precision and stability to your maneuvers.
- Independent aileron servos deliver snap and speed for quickness in the sky. Adding optional flaps opens the way for smooth take-offs and stable, low-speed landings.
- Performs well with a wide range of engines, from high-performance O.S. FX® 2-strokes to high-torque O.S. Surpass® 4-strokes.

"Even though the Stuka is instantly recognizable to warbird buffs, there are almost no R/C kits of this German classic out there—and this is the very first ARF version. That means you can be the first at your field to pilot a Stuka model that looks and flies like a painstakingly built project...but in reality takes only a couple of weekends to finish."

Ready for flight in as little as 20-25 hours. Most of the interlocking, all-wood parts have already been assembled into easy-to-assemble sections. High-quality Great Planes' hardware is not only included, but installed! |
Great Planes has captured nearly every detail of the Stuka's forbidding profile, right down to the "underslung" flaps and ailerons on the semi-symmetrical gull wing. Luftwaffe decals add authentic detail to complete the realistic look. |
